Guess you're the one who bought the BSA Scorpion T-10 on the classified.  Nope, have not touched or cut my T-10's barrel.  If you cut it....the speed and power might drop abit...and most likely louder.  In a PCP....the pellet gets pushed all the way till it exits the barrel....unlike a spring piston powered airgun.  My Air Arms S410SL carbine have a shorter barrel than my T-10.....it's louder and maybe 100+fps slower.  I pump them both up to 200BAR (A little over 3000psi I think).

Why in the world would you want to do that? I have a Scorpion Bull Barrel and it is so accurate I can't miss!

Bob and Stanley are spot on. If you cut it you will loose the factory crown, and accuracy may suffer. BSA hammer forges their own barrels, and are well known for their accuracy. My advice, if you want a carbine length BSA rifle, buy one, don't chop it.

Thats why I ask first and cut second, IF at all. Thanks for the great info.  I like the carbine length and will keep looking for a carbine.
