I am all for being able to carry arms...:) But there are so many people in our world who would abuse this. I would not want to live in LosAngeles, New York or any other big city where  the numbers of weird people could carry around a pistola.. It is bad enough now with our laws the way they are...:) Way to many illegal guns carried by illegal, crooks, and nut cases.. But I would keep a fire arm in my home for personal protection...

Out here in the country, the chances of running into a guy on the freeway and getting into a gun fight is very minimal and I like that.. hehe

Not to argue with you gene, I completely agree that there are "some" who shouldnt be allowed to carry. But one Nice thing is inorder to carry there is an extensive backround check, and I beleave you need to take a firearms safty class.

Gun control all you want, the crooks will always have them, your just takining the honest citizens means o protect themselfs away. :(

Yea Bill, I hear ya. Those in this country who want to carry concealed firearms should be allowed to do so. All one has to do is look at the state of Florida and the data there. Crime is waaayyy down since folks armed themselves. People like Mayor Bloomberg in NYC just can't see past the truth. I do agree that a background check is a must. Let's face it though, even if a background check is "clean" somebody might go "postal". But that's the price we pay to live in a free country, the greatest country on earth! Lets not have the looney gun control freaks take our rights away. Everyone should join the NRA. I have a link to their website on my website if anyone is interested. You can find my site here in my profile. Join and help fight the loonies :)
