Not sure what they are worth, but they sure are pretty. Do you own those?

You can't really go by the auctions, but the second gun, in 20, is currently at $850 on Gun Broker. The plainer gun might go less but it's also a 20 in 25" barrel which makes for a nice upland bird gun. I should think that they would go for maybe $600 at a show, although I have been out of shotguns for a long time now. SKB's are nice guns, though, and not junk. You can check the Blue Book of Gun Values for a start. Just remember that it, and the auctions, ain't the Bible. Really nice guns while we're at it. Family estate? Makes me wish I could shoot shotguns again.

Yes, I possess them.  Thinking of a trade, but I get a  tense, burning sensation whenever I start thinking about trading guns -- I never know if I am making a good deal.

Safe queens I haven't shot in 20+ years.  Thinking about trading for a nice Marlin 39-A 22 S, L, LR (50's gun without cross bolt safety and no hammer bounce) and a Browning BL22 22 LR.  I seem to do a lot more rim-fire shooting these days than shot-gunning, and I was never that great a SxS enthusiast.  Plus, I have a large reserve of other shot guns including my beloved Brownings.  So, absolute price aside, I would probably get a lot more use out of the rimfires, but my gut tells me I am getting the short end of such a trade.

Mine, for example, is nicer than this one.

Your gut is dead on. 50's 39A maybe $500, tops, for a really good one. Maybe a really nice early post-war B or C prefix. BLRII goes for about $450. I think there is one on Rimfirecentral right now. Might want to sell one and then do your shopping.

Very pretty pair of doubles TCups !!!!!

I borrowed my brothers 20 ga SxS's for awhile. Was fun for skeet. Only problems was that it had a sheet steel butt plate, and I had to keep a screw driver in the shell pouch and retighten everything every few stations. It was an old, cheap Crecent 'hardware store' gun his father-in-law handed down to him. Kicked the snot out of my shoulder, but even with all that, it was still a nice change from pumps and o/u's.

Good luck with the sale.
