Are there any Field Target shooters here?

That's pretty much all I'm interested in doing with airguns other than an occassional hunt. Just curious how many others here are involved in Field Target competitions??

I used to shoot FT a number of years ago, even won a 3rd place trophy in my category during a 2 day international event.  Sadly, I found that some of the "forced position" shots (especially prone) just didn't work for me with the limited flexibility caused by spinal fusion surgery. A "no score" for these positions was more of a handicap than I could afford, so I quit. This particular club's rules have since changed, so I am giving some serious thought to giving it another try, in hunter class.

TX, I ATTEMPT to shoot FT. I pretty much suck at it, but I make every meet and am SLOWLY getting better. It's a great group of guys (and girls, and kids) that I shoot with. Everyone is bending over backwards to help newbies like me.

I shoot a Logun Solo, with a 44 Mag on top. It outshoots me every time.

If you (or ANYONE) are ever in the area, please stop in. We have anything anyone could need... loner guns, instruction, donuts, :)

  It is BMUS's club... http://www.nocasa-ft.com

There's even a RARE pic of me there.  :)

Yes.  Basically that is all I do with my airgun, except for some pest elimination, but Field Target is my main passion.
