Tasco GA 3-9x32 AO scopes
« on: May 09, 2007, 11:21:25 PM »
at Midsouth for $38.21. Still not as cheap as they once were, but that is about $10 less than I have seen in a while.

Thanks Mike.. The way everyone talks about how good those scopes are... even at that price it sounds like they would be well worth it.. I might even spring for one, to put on my Daisy- Gamo 131.. for up close shooting..:) I think Jeff got one when they had that great price and he has it on one of his Gamo's I think.. But Jeff probably does not even need a scope to shoot accurate out to 50 yards anyway.. hehe

Hey Gene, you are correct.  I did get a couple at that original $27 price,, wish that price was still available :(

But I liked em so much I bought like 3 or 4 more from Optics Planet.  I have 2  S1K's with Golden Antlers on top and they are still working great, just like the other rifles I have em on.  Only thing I don't like about the scope is that the adjustment turrets can move if you accidentally hit them, but I just make sure I'm careful when taking the guns out or putting them away.  They really are a good bang for the buck.

As for me shooting bullseyes at 50 yards without needing a scope,, heck,, I do that all the time and at distances much further than 50 yards,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,then I wake up  :)

Yes, they are very good scopes. I got 2 of them back when the price was lower, but even at the higher price it would be hard to find one better. I wish that you could get this scope in a 4-12 power.

Hey Jason,

All my Golden Antlers scopes have held up very well, no problems at all.  They are very accurate and even the mounts are pretty good if you make sure all the surfaces (gun and mounts) are squeeky clean and you crank em down.  The mounts have even been holding well on the 2  S1K's.

I like my 2 GA's I have one on my B-26 and one on my B3 they are accurate and since I havent been able to afford more for a scope yet I am waitin. I think in the price range they are prolly the best out there.
