Since I got a new mount AND a new 3 x 9 x 50 mm scope from a forum mate, I'm thinking of putting them on the TF 89.  I'll grab the reliable Gamo scope and mount and put it on the Titan, when and if it ever gets put back together.

I actually had a Simmons scope on the Titan.  It is now on the Sheridan Blue Streak.  They are in love with each other as it is a "one hole gun" .

I have a TF 99 on the way from Jaymo!

Okay, all the Titan did was destroy the Gamo mount :(  I think I"m going to shoot it with open sights for awhile and let is smooth out.  I'll order another four or five bolt one piece mount and try it.

Ordered another 4 bolt mount. I might pull the scope off of my TF 89 and try it on the Titan.

The Gamo Scope was on the TF 89 with no slipping.  The Titan actually shredded the metal on the Gamo Mounts!

I have a new four bolt mount on the TF 89.  I'll just have to try it and see how it works.

Today I got the new mounts for the scope.  I put the mount on the gun and made a mark where the stop should go. Then I just drilled out the hole for a scope stop.

By the time I did everything it was starting to get dark.  I'm going to use some wadcutters in the morning to better see where it is hitting.  It is just almost too powerful in .177. My TF 89 in .22 is just about right!
