OMG -- just went on gunbroker and did a quick price check.  I bought these at the DU Banquet in 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992 at auction.  By the 3rd and 4th years of the banquet, every damned one there knew I was bidding to get the whole set of 4 shotguns (with sequential DU Serial numbers.  I paid dearly for them the last two years.  But it was for a good cause, and it looks like I got more than my money's worth in retrospect.  Wonder if I could trade for a nice air rifle?   :p

Actually, top to bottom, those are the 12, 28, 20, and 410.  The 12, 28, and 410 have never been fired.  The $3!!&#*!!'s promised me the original box and paperwork on the 12, but somehow lost it after the banquet.  I couldn't resist shooting the 20, but it has had maybe two boxes of shells fired.  But up close, the wood on all of them is amazing.

just wondering why you don't shoot themTCup's,I under stand DU sponsor bid gun's & all, but you have shot 12ga.& value is in set unfired & boxed, they would make a fine set of skeet gun's & envy of the field & you only live once sir.

They all have the original presentation cases.  Dont know -- guess I just always ended up shooting another of my shotguns.  And as for resale value,  these, like all my guns, are never meant to be re-sold.  They are willed to my son & daughters, and grand kids.  There will too soon come a time when Americans may not be able to just go out and buy quality firearms.  My collection will be my heritage for my family and their families for generations to come, I sincerely hope.

Very nice Tom, ... but give in to the temptation and fire them, that's what they're for. - I have a Remington 12 ga. 1100 trap gun, Monte Carlo stock, ventilated rib  etc. I bought back around 1967/8. Beautiful gun to look at, but I took it duck & pheasant hunting a few times as well as to the range. .. ;)

Geeeeeee-orgous  Tommy !!!!!

Late friend who started me in Skeet shot registered and had a beautiful matched, four gauge set of Berettas. Wish I had the money when his widow sold them.

We had a local Beratta dealer bring the N E USA Rep with a truck loaded with every current model, to one of my Gun Club's Sunday shoots. We got to try every one at Skeet and Trap.  If I ever win the lottery, one of my first stops is going to be at the Beretta dealer !!!!!
