I spotted the female cowbird while I was eating lunch out on the front lawn. I finished lunch, went into the basement and picked up the CFX. I went out side looked around for the male and did not see him; I thought I should wait until I could spot him. My patients were rewarded within two minutes he landed about 5 feet away from the female. Put the crosshairs on the left side of the chest (as this is the side that was presented to me) I pulled the trigger...and...Twang (Hey it's a Gamo). She dropped right there the male made for the trees, while I reload the male quickly made his way back but still staying in the trees he was almost over her looking very worried why his mate was not moving. Twang another shot a couple of pics and here we are.
Bart

These two made such a lovely couple until...well you know.

Nice shooting!! I love my CFX, it is not hold sensitive and I need to use a firmer grip at long ranges which neither of my Gamo 440 rildes likes much. What pellets do you use for hunting?

Well It use to like the RWS Superdomes but after the tune it  has a taste for the Beeman FTS.
