what do you do if the pellet is off weight?

Well.....

I have found that no matter what the manufacturer says the weight of a pellet is, every pellet does not weight that number.  IN fact, a fair number of them won't weigh the specified number.

I actually use fishing lure separation boxes and put my pellets into them by weight groups separated by .1 grain.    As an example:  JSB says that the weight of it's Predator pellets is 16.5 gr.   I have sorted through tins and found that they range from less than 16 to 16.4 grain.  I weigh each pellet, put it into a separate container per weight and use them up in that manner.  It provides more consistency AND better shot grouping for me.

It is time consuming but it is relaxing for me and I don't mind doing it.  IF a pellet is way off weight I typically throw it out.

Bought it to weigh my pellets. Ordered it last weekend and it came Wednesday. It comes with a pouch, 20 gram weight for calibration, scoop, tray, and tweezers. The tweezers are too small for pellets and you don't need the scoop or tray for pellets. Everything will fit in the pouch which also will fit into my western cut shirt with the flap snapped shut. After reading the reviews wiped off the batteries before installing, and am going to put a small dot dead center on the scale to help with consistency. It is consistent, pulled out about a dozen predator pellets and weighed them. 9 were like 16.1 and 2 16.2 with one at 16.0. Reweighed them and all but one was the same and it was switching between 16.1 and 16.2. So you could call it 16.15. As far as I am concerned for weighing pellets you will not find a better scale for the price.

LoL yeaaaah... I had a pretty bad encounter with one.

I was walkin down some street in Perth Australia at about 3 in the morning... 3 sheets to the wind & in my dress whites I might add. And a Chinese Midget tried to rob me at knife point. I thought he was a little kid at first and just brushed him aside. Next thing I know, he's on my back & my armpit feels like it's on fire.

I got him offa me and ended up kickin his ass all over the sidewalk for about a block until the cops got me... We BOTH ended up in jail that night...LoL I got out without any charges the next day though.
