Update on Discovery stock for Dave at CAG

Just wanted to let you all know I am still around.  Been covered with sawdust......LOL

I have been spending all my free time in the shop.  New tools, stock carving and making art objects for my wife.   She was going to buy convex and concave 12" squares covered in silver foil.    $100.00 a piece, she wanted 12!...........Yikes!

I told her I could make them at a fraction of the cost.  But I would need new tools.......Yeah!

I am about half way there.  Took some figuring to get something to bend.....used veneer for cabinets.....soaked and steamed and clamped.  Perfect.

Daves' Disco stock is almost done.  I will post pics, but it looks great!  Don has a Discovery now, so anyone who wants a custom stock does NOT have to send him the gun.  Just tell me what you want and we can get it done.

Sounds good Tim. I told Joe several weeks ago that, with the way weather has been here, I was putting everything on hold until, my new shop was built. I'm glad to here things are going good for you, keep it up.
