Any more info available for the Gamo 560 Carbine?
« on: July 11, 2007, 08:28:56 AM »

Hi folks

The Search has failed to find much information on the Web or the GTA about what this gun really is in the real world out there for parts comparison.

It is a Gamo and has 560 Carbine inscribed in the metal above the stamped non-adjustable trigger.

It is short and has the black synthetic stock.

It came with a 4 power TV screen scope and has no sights on the rifle. It does have what looks like a muzzle brake on the end of the barrel.

I am looking to see if Charlie's GTIII trigger will improve this and possible a better spring that won't twang as much.

It says it is rated for 560fps, but it shoots no where close to that.

Here is some old information about it over at airgunexpress.

Thanks for you help and plink away..  :)

...a variant on the Cadet Delta, and mine does shoot at just about 560.

Yes, the trigger is non-adjustable, but it seems to be the standard Gamo trigger with the adjustment screw and boss left out.

Hi Mark and a Big Welcome to the GTA. Usually most new members get questions answered promptly and with very detailed information. Let me add to what Vince has said. If it is a Cadet style Gamo then the GRT-III will work. And they can be tuned as well with a different spring. I bought a new Delta last year as a gift and had CDT tune it and put a new GRT-III trigger in it. We changed the spring, seal and honed the cylinder, with a good deburring and lube job. It came out real sweet. Shoots in the low 600 fps with Gamo Hunter pellets and is very smooth and quiet.  My suggestion is send CDT an email and he can fill you in on what you can do and can't do with your Gamo 560 carbine. He knows them Gamo's very well..

Good luck and welcome aboard..
