If you, or anyone else here could provide me any info on that J.C. Higgins variant of the Daisy Targeteer, I would be most appreciative. I have never seen, or heard of them until I saw this one. I was not able to find any info in the BBOA (4th ed) either. Dave B. on the AVA tells me that the black grips are supposed to be quite rare, but thus far, thats all I really know about it.

Tried the link I had a while ago, and it came up dead. May try a search to see if they have a new URL. May be the best bet, if it is still around.
