I hate to say this but I really wish they'd sell out of those guns cause if they don't soon I know I won't be able to resist that order button any longer  :)

I've almost hit the button about a thousand times on that deal but I've managed this long to  hold off,,,, but I'm almost at the point where resistance is futile.  :(

PLEASE,,, SOMEONE BUY THEM ALL UP SO I WON'T GET IN TROUBLE BY ORDERING ANOTHER AIR GUN !!!!!!

I got mine on monday and what a beautiful gun!  It is easy to cock and fairly quiet to shoot.  Its lighter and has a  shorter stock than my RWS panther so it is a joy to handle for me . The GTR went in after 25 shots as stock.  What a difference !!   Smooth is all I can say. :) Its now my favorite to use.   A friend saw it, and Im hoping to get another order in before they run out. .......So Im trying to get them all sold.   Out of curiosity, I just spoke to their CS, and they said they are considered discontinued, and they still have over a 100 left at the moment (he would not say how many)   But he did say not to wait,  since they are movin fast.

Their only in .177, right? Anyone know where I can get a good deal on one in .22? or even a 220.22. I want another rifle in .22, with break barrel and a wooden stock.
Current weapon of choice: Betsy, my Turbo Tuned Gamo Hunter 220.177 with the GRT III Trigger.

try doing a internet search see if one is floating around. You can look  at the RWS 34 in .22

Randy, look at the Chinese made B-26. They are great shooters and the velocity is about the same as the Gamo hunter series. They have a good price at $139.95 at Best Guns, and they offer them allot of the time with free shipping..:) They sell both the .177 and the .22 version.

ooo. Thats a nice looking gun. Do you recommend the thumb hole, or the normal. I'm not sure...

Randy, I've got one of the B26-2 w/ thumbhole. It's in .177, not .22. A number of people have issues with the comb of the -2 thumbhole stock being too high to comfortably look through the scope even with higher scope mounts. Some have cut/sanded the comb down a little to good effect. I'm still up in the air whether to do that with mine.

That being said, I really like the way it shoots. Cocking is smooth and not too difficult, the Rekord-style trigger is pretty good for a stock rifle (though IMHO, it ain't no GRT III, that's for sure), the stock is very comfortable to hold (other than the comb issue) and it's a lot more accurate than I am. At some point, I hope to do a lube/tune on it and would expect even smoother shooting.

Others have gotten the B26 with the regular stock and really liked it. If I were to ever get a .22 version of the gun, I think it would probably be the standard stock.
