It's just that this is a deal that's hard to resist. In fact, if it had been in .22, I wouldn't have resisted - and well, Honey, I'll figger out how to pay for it later...

I've been wantin' one of these for a long time. I didn't think that Gamo made 'em in .22 do they?  Because if they did, I would have one on it's way.  Oh well, my Diana 350M .22 is a pretty darn good wollupper for now. I can't believe some of the secret sniper shots that I have executed on the ground squirrels out on the hill that gives me 75~100yrd shots. I'm hopin' that they aren't manufacturin' somethin' underground to take me out...

Early this year Gamo announced that they would not be producing any more Royal 1250 .22's along with there other line of air rifles. The CFX .22 that Pyramid is selling is a one run production on the CFX and do not know if Gamo will make any .22's again to market in the US.

I know that the Gamo Royal 1250 .22 that I purchase two years ago in not servicable with any after market replacement parts such as springs, seals etc. To this day, I do not know if you can buy any of these parts from Gamo themselves. I am sure if Gamo does not bring the .22, 1250 back in production that the originals will be collector air rifles some day.

The CFX.22 that Pyramid is selling should also be a collectors item, especialy with the misprint on the tube.

If Natchez, or anyone else, was selling the .22 1250 I'd buy another one in a second just to put away in my gun safe.  For now though I'm glad I already have one proudly taking up space in the gun cabinet.  I'm still tempted to buy the .177 just to have a "matched pair", but funds are to tight right now  :(
