Looking to trade a CFX (.177) for a B26 (.22)
« on: September 28, 2007, 12:00:40 PM »
I do not like my 1 year old CFX!  I purchased the rifle used and replaced the seal and spring with a set purchased from J.M. (E-2000).  I installed a new top hat and spring-guide from Rich'n Mich.  Freshly deburred and lube tuned!

I have shot less than a 100 pellets through the CFX since assembling but unable to better 750fps w/CPLs.  I was hoping to make this a FT rifle but I don't go to the range any more and I prefer to hunt/plink with Break Barrels anyway.

My CFX is in fare condition (NOT PERFECT CONDITION).  Some scratches and I reblued a 2" area on the receiver.

I would like to make an even trade for a "TUNED" B26 (.22). Or fair offer of a quality break-barrel .22.

If interested, please contact me at 225-937-8308 or keithvi@hotmail.com for photos or with questions.

Thank you,
KeithVi

Hmmm Keith most of the B26 and B26-2 owner's here are pretty happy with them. The CFX.22 is  a keeper too, I had a .177 but gave it to my Dad so we could get some hunt time together. Hopefully someone is looking for a .177 and you can sell it outright and get a B26 new or close. Tuned one's are real nice, good luck and WELCOME to GTA. 8) Ed

...for $135, which is within $5.00 of a new .22 cal B26. If you advertise it as just "for sale", you might do better.
