B26 (.22 cal) for sale...
« on: September 14, 2007, 12:49:52 PM »
It's only about a month old, too hold-sensitive for me.

I didn't give it a "full tune"... but I pulled the power plant apart, deburred the slot and holes, and installed a new seal (the original had a little damage). I also opened the transfer port up a smidgen (by 1/32") because that always seemed to help a Gamo or B19 in this caliber... but it didn't seem to help on this gun.

It seems to like Gamo Match pellets, which it spits out at around 700fps. For some reason it shoots a little high even with the rear sight all the way down, but I had no trouble getting a scope sighted in, even without an adjustable mount.

I didn't bother with a pic because, well, the gun is in excellent condition - and I assume that everyone knows what a B26 looks like!

Make offer. I know that these things go NEW for only $140 with shipping - so my expectations are reasonable.

What sorta shot? I don't have a lot in the way of .22's.

I could easily through in a tin of Premier Hollow Points - but frankly, the B26 don't like 'em. About the only other pellet I could supply (in a complete tin) are Gamo Hunters, which it likes much better.

In the interests of full disclosure....

...I chronied the gun again this morning, and it seems to be running about 10-20fps slower than the last time I checked it. Instead of 690's, right now it's doing 670-680.

In addition, there are a couple of short scratches and a small ding in the stock as shown in this pic. I just noticed them.

Fix, if you want to back out, that's fine...
