Hey Paul, I have to say that I was very impressed with your detailed video. Sounds like the RWS 850 has some great mod capabilities as well. Of course keep us posted on any mods you apply to the 850.

Paul,

Nice job on the video review.  I've had my .177 850 in for about 6 weeks.  I really like it alot and I second your suggestion for a nice wood stock.  Something else I would like to see is an adapter where you can use a refillable 9oz. paintball tank.  I've done some research and can only find the adapter to use an AirSource on a paintabll marker.  I think it costs only about $2.00-$2.50 to fill a refillable 9oz. CO2 tank.  This would help make it more economical, although 180 shots on on 88 gram AirSource is not too bad.  Keep us posted on any mods for this rifle.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys!

I have a couple of mods in mind for a follow up show, including a hammer spring mod and a custom shroud. I'd also like to do some telephone interviews on the show with some pro tuners and artisans. I'll also get some velocity results, a better scope and some decible readings before and after the shroud. Stay Tuned!

Speaking of good scopes, my 850 has a Center Point 4-16 X40 on it.  Wal-mart for $70.  I like it alot, clear and crisp.  I had to use some high see-thru mounts to get it off the barrel enough to clear.
