Problem:
My progressive glasses are useless with red-dot sights, as I cannot look through the proper channel to view the dot clearly. It looks like a smudge, no matter what. Only way to get a clear dot is to sight normally, then lift my glasses with a free hand to find the proper close up channel in them. Not workable.
Is anyone using dedicated prescription (or not) reading glasses to get a clear dot? I have no problem with lasers or conventional scopes, as the parallax adjustment (scopes) compensates to make the reticle clear enough for me to shoot with, sans glasses. Lasers are great, because they are on target, which I have no problem seeing.
This is as frustrating as a flood in an alka-seltzer factory.
May anyone please help me? :0
