Well to start off with,i told some of you that i had a 13 lined ground squirrel in my yard...and that i would have to track and kill it before it started to eat me moms corn, cucomber, and tomatoes.today i was going to the restroom and looked out the window and saw a brown objejt near my mothers garden,i got the binoculars and saw the ground squirrel, went to my basement room, got my s1k but couldnt decide which pellets to use, thought of pointers but didnt want him to get over penetrated and go down his hole,i have the old daisy flatheads that look like gamo match, but didnt wanna use those for some unknown reason,lol...then i remembered i had some rockets...took four of the rockets and had a whole butpad full of them too, headed out and put the stock on him,got within 25yrds but didnt feel comfortable takeing the shot through my dads wooden fence,so he spooked, after that it hit me,the s1k was sighted in for copperheads,so while waiting for him to show again,i sighted the rockets in,in four shots, under an inch,i came back to my yard and saw him,i made a stalk to 15yrds rested the gun on the fencepost,he spooked again, but i whisted and he poked just his head up,right then i aimed for the ear and squeezed the trigger boom!,flop,he started to do the chicken without a head dance but another rocket stopped him from doing so,i had maybe a hair away from the ear but it severed the spinal cord, and dropped him. Thanks for reading!,heres the pics,BTW the arrow is pointing to the enrance hole.

Dang Yote... I had a real hard time with keeping any scope mount on my Shadow...:) Even the one piece Accushot moved  on me...)  Ended up drilling a shallow hole in between dove tail on barrel. Used the Accushot mount to pilot the hole. Then set the set screw in with lock tight. The blue loctite..:)

On my new Shadow Supreme .22, I have used a BKL mount which is a fantastic mount. It is light and very strong.. You have to spread it to get it on the dove tail. So it is tight before you even tighten the lock down screws..

Good Luck..
