Thanks a bunch guys.I just did a tune on ''the BEAST''(Powerline1000s).And believe it or not the guts of this gun are pretty well machined!(OR WAS IT THE 1200 ROUNDS I RAN THROUGH IT).Why of course the stock scope mounts are trashed,as well as a pair of cheap simmons mounts...But,thanks to alot of perusing of reviews and some flash backs from my early days with a springer it wasn't something that surprised me.This gun is SO much more a pleasure to cock and shoot now.I have a set of Accushot 1 piece mounts on the way,I'm crossing my fingers(and counting my dollars)in hopes that the Powerline scope is still holding up.My other guns that cost at least twice as much have yet to show me the potential(power, accuracy)that this gun has.I have killed over a hundred squirrels with it and countless Grackles, starlings, and a very large NASTY feral cat.Being a gift(the powerline),and a very low-priced gun allowed me to let my ''creative juices''flow. The trigger has been a joy after a little luvin. This gun is heat seeking missle accurate,I've whacked many squirrels @40+ yards!Mostly fuse box shots, and the few that hit them where they live(vitals) didn't get very far.I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs with a good set of mounts, and possibly a decent scope. Most of all this gun brought me back to airgunning....cost????PRICELESS!!!!!Thanks from everyone on GTA !Once again...a great place to be!!!!

I recently did a debur, lube on a Powerline and the piston is well machined. This one only had maybe 50 pellets through it. Now I'm just waiting on the local W/M to drop the clearance $$ alittle more. With some TLC and trigger work these are a very hard hitting, accurate rifles.
