Well the my German lassie is headed to her new home . Great meal , I had the fried chicken , mashed potatoes with gravy, squash casserole, and cucumber slices with a corn muffin , and of course Sweet iced tea(the table wine of the south) . Gene had the country fried steak with gravy , fried okra, and mashed potatoes with a biscuit and unsweet iced tea . then I got refills on veggies and got broccoli and rice casserole , and some fried okra and gene went for another order of the fried okra. . Man am I full. When Gene got there the first thing he said was, where is it , I want to see it. I said here and opened the box to the HW30 . He said not that, I know what that looks like , I want to see the Walnut stocked PCP . LOL . I said I brought her , here she is up behind the back seat . I let him look at it inside the truck . I didn't feel comfortable picking up anything that resembles a rifle in the busy area we were in. I'll let him tell you what he thought of it. hehe. We locked up the vehicles and walked around to the other side to go into the restaurant and there sat one of Atlanta's finest. getting out of his black& white . I'm glad he didn't come around the corner , we weren't doing anything illegal , but I didn't want to have to explain why we were both staring into the rear compartment of my Toyota P'up truck . After we ate ,Gene had to rush off to pick up someone at the airport and I headed home .A great meal between friends and great conversation . I think we could have sat there and talked for hours. , thanks Gene ; kirby
