Got barrel wobble?
« on: March 17, 2008, 02:28:17 PM »
Not to fear...instead of sending it back to Crosman.

I borrowed a barrel band off of my 2240 and put it right in front of the original band....it fits.

The trouble is the skinny arse barrel is just that...it flexes to easily.
Haven't done any real accuracy testing yet, but pictures are forthcoming as soon as I resize them to use here.

Crosman really should start using some heavier gauge barrels, but I imagine since they have a shrouded version in the works it may take care of this problem.
