..at least with one.  Has been remodled, refinished, chopped on, and taken apart so often I can do it in the dark.  Has been a test bed for brakes/shouds/scopes, and I finally found one that looks "right" to me and performs well (inexpesnive 2-7X).  Final version is tuned back down to the 575-600fps area (but all that inside work has made it smooth and easy to operate, and the valve work  helps make  it sip co2).

Cheap little Bariska 2-7X...bought it like new/used for $35.  Rifle has worn everything from a 24X to a Red Dot, but for what I'm using it for,  a little 2-7 or 3-9 works best, I just ahppen to like the size/proportion of this 2-7.

I may have to install one of those on my QB79. That or a small 6X.

Tried a little 6X on both the QB78 anbd the 79.  Need taller mounts (or thin fingers) to clear the loading port.


Ended up with a 3-9 Leapers (another cheap scope...but it works great).  Also ended up with a RWS850 compensator (which happens to fit QB79, QB78D, and the AR2078 barrels just fine).

Does the 850 compensator quiet the gun down any?
