Anyone using Hawke scopes?
« on: June 09, 2008, 05:00:03 PM »
Specifically, the 4-16x50 MapPro model.  I wasn't really in the market for another scope, but these have intrigued me for awhile now.  So when one showed up on the Yellow, practically new and at a good price, I just couldn't help myself.  What little I've heard has been good, but was curious if anyone here has any experience with them.  Thanks, people.

Dave, I don't have that particular model but I do have the 4X12 map on a magnum springer. Great clarity, and so far recoil proof. I have zero complaints.

I used the said type on my HW97K with Dampa mount. Excellent performance compared to its price. My only remark was that the adjustment of the objective (setting the parallax) was quite difficult as the bezel was too stiff to turn.
