Transfer port mod
« on: June 10, 2008, 12:35:10 AM »
Has anyone enlarged the transfer port hole? It seems to me that it could be opened up to the caliber of the gun to get the maximum air pressure.. The reason I ask is I saw this at a blog. The gun used plugs with different size holes that screwed into the transfer port hole.

If no one knows of a good reason not to I think I'll try it on my Super Streak while I have it down.

You may can enlarge slightly, but if you go to much, you'll loose power. IIRC 5/64" is about as large as you can go without dropping power. The best thing to do would be to roll up a piece of 400gt sand paper and polish the hole.
