Dry Shadow
« on: June 13, 2008, 10:27:15 AM »
well I got my supertune kit fromRich ( great complete kit by the way )when I dissassembled the shadow there was no grease anywhere but on the piston the spring was bone dry. Anyway after I polished everything that I could and installed the kit the shadow is now a great twangless powerhouse and super smooth with the GRTlll trigger.I don't have a crony but it sounds like it hits harder. I've been getting tight groups at 20yrds. need to move out and see what It can do at 30-50

...dem Gamo's ain't perfect, but they sure seem to get the basics right. It's a good rifle to start with, and as you found out the shortcomings are easily addressed.

Why don't you post some grouping pictures once you've wrung it out some more?
