I have a CFX and I want to put a sling on mine as well.  I have thought it out, but I haven't actually done it yet - too many interferences on my time and money.  You know annoying things like work, bills, honey-doos, etc.  Anyway, I think it is possible to put a set of side mounted swivels (thats what I want anyway) on by using a stud and swivel from the front of a pump shotgun on the side of the forearm and another near the but plate on the same side.  I might even have to make the stud, but I know I can buy the swivels.  I would have to drill a hole in the side of the but and forearm in a place where the back of the stud wouldn't interfere with the cocking mechanism.  I am right handed so I would put this on the right side.  What I don't know is if the plastic stock is stiff enough to hold up - I won't know that until I try.

I bought one and I really liked it, then I bought 4 more.

No need to drill holes and completely removable.

Here is my Daisy Powerline 880 .177cal rifle with a GAMO sling

I had seen the gamo sling but I think that it will interfere with the cocking lever????

Actually, if you'll notice, the top of the sling slides over the barrel. If you're going to shoot you'd probably take the sling off ahead of time anyhow. The sling would really be for walking the weapon to and from your designated shooting area. Even if you were hunting you wouldn't have the gun slung over your shoulder while stalking, anyhow. I doubt you'd have any problems.

Just my 0.02$. As always, YMMV.

Here is how I attached a sling to my CFX.  There are a couple of notches on the inside of the stock where the barrel mates with the receiver.  I took a short piece of cord and passed the ends through these notches from above.  I then passed the ends through the front of the sling tied them together.  The cord makes a loop just large enough to allow free movement of the cocking lever.

yes, i have a sling on my cfx. i used an uncle mikes .22cal tube mag swivel kit i found at a sports authority store. it was in a bargain box for $8. you will have to tap the bottom side off you shoulder stock to install the rear piece.

i'm pretty sure it was this one here.
