« on: July 25, 2008, 08:50:08 AM »
If you shoot a Squirrel with a "Lil Ole BB Gun" & it blows it into two VERY seperate halves,,& I can maybe recover most of both ends of said Squirrel,, would it be ok if I post pics. here?? Of course,, after only 30 shots I have my new gun so dialed in,, it is accurate enough for head shots,,,,,really dont think any head at all would be left!!LOL!!! (Seriously!!) Im going back outside to shoot some more now before the neibors get home,, this thing is LOOOOOOUD!!!!He He He!!  THANK YOU J!!!!!! More info later!! Tim.

You used the last squirrel you got to zero your new Big Bore PCP on?  The monstrocity..!!  hehehe

I must admit, I did the same thing with 1 squirrel last winter.  I hung him up upside down on a tree (attracted many crows too) and shot his head few times from one of my windows 25yds out with the unscoped 350 .22.  After about 10-12 shots it was pretty deformed and you can barely tell it was a head..  I 'd think your big bore would only require 1, maybe 2 shots for the same result?  What is it again? .454?  3 of those bullets next to each other would make up the width of the squirrel's head!  Too bad you don't have any buffalo grazing in your back yard  :-)
Springers:
