4500 psi air supply
« on: September 12, 2008, 12:13:03 PM »
I located a 4500 psi air supply near where I live.  I was wondering what information I need to know in order to buy a carbon fiber tank that will actually fit all the adapters/connections necessary to fill my new S410 when it arrives from straight shooters.  I'm new to the darkside, so I've got zero experience with this stuff.

I'm guessing I'll need the CF tank and an adapter that fits the rifle.  The air source was OK with filling a scuba tank taking a "K" valve ( that's what Craig at SS told me to say :).  But now I'm reading about DIN connectors too.  What should the specifications be for all of the necessary attachments?  What additional questions should I ask the air source?

Thanks for the help, I sure need it!

Thanks for the reference.  Van at Airhog was amazingly helpful and informative.  In fact, I ended up using them for my tank and related goodies.

Following is a link to 4500 psi air sources from the yellow that was sent to me by another good-hearted air gunner.  Hope it helps.

What I did was stayed at 3000 psi and bought a compressor . It worked out cheaper and a whole lot easier for me in the long run .Marvin
