Good shooting and story Ed!
You 're lucky to have friends that call you over for some pest control.  Every friend and relative I suggested that to, looked at me like I had 3 heads and went "what? no way..!".  That's the difference between the majority of NYers and people in other states :-)  I think Tim is right, I probably don't belong here.. I 'd be better off down South or the mid-west :-)  Actually I have felt like that for many years even though I live 50mi. north of NYC and it's pretty rural up here, most of the people here moved from the city or work in the city, so cute little animals is something they enjoy seeing and think anyone hunting them is bad.

Way to go Ed! I do love a good squirrel hunt story.Great pic of your 34 and a luscious fox squirrel.I'm looking forward to some cooler days this month so I can get after 'em in my local woods. No Black ones here though.Predominatly Grey's with about 10% Fox Squirrels.

Man, you're dedicated to pest control....going out in da rain....with a wood stock no less. Good for you, bad for the rodents. heh heh All the nutters around my place are gray....no blackies or brownies....but they haven'tdone and damage to my house and/or property....so I don't need to "nail" them.

Btw, I always like the way you post your prey in your photos. Not like me....I just have them lying on the grass beside my rifle. I gotta get creative!!!!

Yeah Harry, U R a bad dude. Killing those "Harmless" critters that cause damage to land, property, other wildlife and carry parasites.

Hey Stanly, you and I have very similar game because of our proximity.  I 'll be planning another trip to Montreal soon.  I like your city.  It's nice and clean and only 5hrs drive.  Maybe we 'll hook up for a beer, or you can show me around those fine "bars" I hear so much about :-)

The only time I see black squirrels is when I 'm visiting a NYC park, or Europe.  Most countries in Europe have tons of them.  Sometimes that's all you see at a park and wonder if they have any greys or reds.

Cool Harry. Shoot me an email/message when you're about to come up. It'll be cool to meet someone from this forum. Maybe we can grab a bite together....I'm not much of a bar person though. I think I've been in a bar for a total of 5 times in my life....and 3 or them were sporting events shown on a big screen.
