Bryan,, no need to be too fussy bout mounts for the Disco. like on springers, (No recoil). Even though I dislike high mounts on any of my guns,, I would sgest you get some medium mounts at least for the Disco.,,, gives Ya more "finger room" to load pellets under the scope. I love my 22 Disco!! :D  Most any inexpensive 11 mm/22 rimfire rings should do Ya just fine. You should be able to find em locally at Wally World or your local sporting goods store or gun shop. (two piece obviously). Good luck, & good shootin!! I may be away for awhile, Marvin,(mellowroadman) is a guy here that knows how to Disco.!!LOL!! Tim.

This is what it looks like with medium mounts and 40 mm lens . So you will need to go at least to highs to get that 50 on it . Good luck Marvin

Bryan,
So, did you buy the .17 or the .22 caliber rifle? Either way your going to really like it. Marvin is dead on about the high scope mounts for the 50mm. I have a 40mm scope on my rifle and it sits less than 1/8th of an inch above my rear site with the Beeman medium rings.

The first thing your going to want to do is shoot it. After that you might very well want to do a little polishing on the sear and trigger to sear linkage. There are several posts here regarding doing such and it will make for a much nicer trigger pull.

Be sure to come back and post some target shots!

Hey Neo, I bought the .22 with the Leapers 3x9-50 Mil-Dot scope. I also got the high mounts for it. If it's to unconfortable to shoot with the high mounts, I'll put the Leapers 40 on for size with the medium mounts. The rifle should arrive the 1st week of Jan. and I'm impatiently waiting. When I get her cleaned up and sighted in and I'll post the results.
Thanks

I got my Disco today (finally) along with my Leapers 3 - 9x50 scope. You guy's were right, to much scope for the rifle even with the high mounts. So I reckon I'll swap it out for the 40. Other then that my rifle looks great. I havn't  shot it yet, I think I'll wait for the weekend.

Byran:

I am on the road in Huntsville, Al, this week and will get back to you on that with more detail.  I used see-through high-mounts, but I just do not remember whoose they were.
