With all of you're ignorant/closed minded/socialist leanings, how can you POSSIBLY enjoy something as verboten as shooting a gun?
BTW, when I took the ASVAB, I scored 99 out of 100. Sure hate to burst your bubble, but my IQ has tested at 145. Do you realize just how high that is? 135 is in the top 1 percentile, if that helps narrow it down for you.

If you knew anything at all about the actual history of this country, you wouldn't be happy with EITHER party.
I'm not crazy about Bush. Didn't like his dad, either. Both are anti-gun socialist zealots. You should like them.  But that doesn't mean that I like the scumbag Obama, either.  
I don't believe in wars that aren't self defense. But I support out troops. At the same time, I'm not sympathetic towards the whining of SOME of them(vast minority of them) about not wanting to fight in a war. You enlist and you belong to the Government. Your purpose is to fight. The military is not a cush job for those who are too lazy to get a real job. It is a fighting force. My entire family and most of my friends have served in the US military(except me, I enlisted, but it turns out, I'm 4F and it's a felony for me to lie about it just to get in. I wasn't willing to lose my back cherry to big black Bubba in the pen, just to spend a week or two at boot camp).
So, I support my troops, just not those who thought the military was going to be a do-nothing career solution to their own laziness. I have a friend who fought in Iraq and is soon going to Ash-canistan. I support him fully.

Sure is easy to spout socialism when you live in BFE North Dakota, nowhere near the undesirables that you think are so great.

The Marine Corps has no "Drill Sargents" but if they did at least they would spell it right.

The unit i am currently training is going to Afghanistan in a month to relieve my sister battalion who were the first US forces in their area since who knows when. Needless to say the lead is flying over there.

 Al Anbar province, declared by the Army to be a lost cause, was recently handed over in full to the control of the local government and Security Forces.
