I should have trusted my instincts from the start, but I tried to believe it could be genuine.  I've seen this type of trolling in other forums before, especially on the Mac forums where it seems at least once a week a newbie joins just to tell us that Macs suck and Windows rules.

Same thing applies here.  This was some sort of funny (or sick) social experiment to see how a bunch of gun toters would respond to an openly gay individual.  I would say the experiment was actually quite revealing--everyone was very well behaved and open minded.

Yep, if you look at the grammar structure and punctuation usage, it's obvious who the person is.  Not that our mods need that--they have the gift of IP addresses.  PWD!!
