I haven't tried any, but I've heard mixed reviews.  That said, with the recent reports and personal testing with Predators, I think I may have to give some of these a try.  They're all a little on the light side for my guns, but they might be a good choice in my 1377.  Maybe Jeff aka Longislandhunter has/will try some.  He's hands down the forum resident hunting expert, and does outstanding write ups. Later.

Tried the 6.4 and the 5.4gr. versions.  Pretty much a waste of time in the springers, but they grouped decently from pneumatic and CO2 guns.  Might be worth a trial in a lower powered springer.

To be honest I haven't figured out what they do that's useful. Get them up to 1020fps or a bit more and they'll put a hole (more like a crack at the bottom of a big dent) in one side of an empty C02 cartridge, which is a neat trick, but not a real useful one.

We tested them at the club. We used the red and gold ones.

TYPE 1 (red):

The Good:
Awsome penetration
Works well in low powered rifles and pistols

The Bad:
5.7gr (can lead to premature spring failure and piston damage) on powerfull airguns
Accuracy is BAD, even at 10m.
Plastic melts into the rifling.
Overpriced (in SA)

TYPE 3 (gold):

The Good:
8.5 gr
Awsome penetration
The accuracy is ok for shorter distances (up to 20m)
Works well in low/medium powered rifles
Works good on larger quarry.

The Bad:
Accuracy not suitable for longer distances.
Plastic sometimes melts into the rifling on high powered rifles.
Overpriced (in SA)
