Mini FPE needed
« on: March 07, 2009, 11:22:12 AM »
What do you guys think would be the min fpe required to drop
a bunny out to 60metres.
What I'm thinking is to drop the fpe of me Evanix AR6 from 65fpe
Reasion... When useing it in repeter mode you are pulling the trigger
agaist the hammer spring.  Really really to heavy to keep the cross
hairs on the target and pull. So am going to try a lighter hammer spring
but how light can I go before it won't kill at a ressamble range "60m"
I'm also hopeing it will get more shots from a fill and it maybe
quiter aswell.

Pete - I would think anything over 20FPE would do the job.  A magnum springer for sure.  I have a Diana 54 that would easily accomplish the task at hand.  However when I hunt these big jacks out here I of course use my FX Cyclone at 30FPE.  Shot placement is key........   Paul
