Don't yer just hate it when !!!

Was out building a new fence on sunday when my mate turned up.
Then he pulls a long box out of his ute. saying I got one He had been talking about a air gun
for months " Hes  p _ s _ed as I never seem to use the rimfire these days" So I think he
figgered if can't beat them I will join them. Needless to say that put pay to the fence building.
After 1/2 a tin of pro mags we had the scope sited. He was happy as a goat in a garden  as he
drove out the drive  yelling back see yer a 7pm for a bunny hunt.
So I had everything ready waiting for stu to turn up 6:45 he crused up the drive.
So I toss everything in and we are off up the redwood pass about a 15 min drive we
stoped at the bottom of a scrub covered gully. iIgave stu a pocket full of preditors and over the fence
and scambled up the gully to the ridge about 150metres above the road. Down the other side was a
nice little bush covered gully with a small stream though it. stu decided to go down in to the bush area while
I walked along just below the ridge line. Didn't here or see stu for 45 mins I seen 8/10 bunnys but they
 seen me first so never got in to range. As the ridge & gully closed in to the head of the valley I seen
Stu sitting on a old log as I got closer the dam P _  i _ k had 3 bunnys and I was empty handed.
I heard about it all the way home.

I hate this beginners luck crap..with a air gun anyway

Great lookin bunnies and great lookin rifle.  Looks like you guys had quite a good time.  Great pic BTW......  Those are some healthy lookin bunnies.  

What gun is that??  Just wonderin.....

I was gonna guess it's a Quest ????  Whatever it is it looks nice and apparently is quite deadly in the right hands  :)

Fine harvest of bunnies by your buddy and the Quest does look good laying next to her harvest. I'm sure that you'll get your share of critters next time out. As for your buddy, it's the first successful hunt with a airgun the draw's em in and gets em hooked.:) Ed

Wow I think your friend (are you still friends? hehe) is a very capable hunter!  Congrats on those 3 bunnies!  It's your turn next time.  You should have stuck with him and share the "findings" :-)
