I've been looking for an inexpensive .22 to add to my collection when I came across the B-26 from Mike at flying dragon. Ordered it on Thursday and it arrived on Monday, double packed and ready to go.... I wish every company operated with such efficiency. The price was $170 shipped and included a lube tune - although Mike went above and beyond by including a steel top hat to get the velocity up at no exta charge.
I finally got around to some chrony tests, and it came out better than advertised. It lists at 650fps, but my tests were in the 700fps range with RWS Superdomes. Not blazing fast, but a good blend of power and smoothness. The firing cycle was like butter - every bit as smooth as my BSA Lightning, even a little quieter. The trigger was adjusted perfectly, nice smooth first stage and a light crisp second. I've yet to mount a scope, but the iron sights are top quality- no plastic parts. I'll probably slap one on after a 1000 rds or so...
Overall, I'm very impressed with the B26. Like Peak says, it's 85-90% of an R9, at a much lower price. And with a tune by Mike, it will shoot with any of the higher price German or English guns.
