Bcshooter, after reading on this forum for a little while I thought it should be renamed airgunners annonomous, lol. The only thing keeping me from owning one of every make and model available is....well... money. I just bought my first and I already want 10 more. Lol

Hey Shawn.  I used to live in Cape GarageDoor.  Big bucks in SE MO and So IL, particularly if you are willing to hunt in swamps.  As I recall, you can only shoot deer in So IL with shotguns and rifled slugs whereas in MO, every crazy with a high power rifle is out in the woods for 2 straight weeks every year around Thanksgiving.  Never killed a deer, but I took a few geese just across the river near Cape.  Good hunting.

Your absolutely right about only being able to use slugs for deer here, we do have a short handgun season and of course bow season, I live about 45 minutes from Cape G Mo. and about the same distance from Paducah Ky.  I always complain about Illinois gun laws sucking but I don't know if I would want every yahoo carrying a high powered rifle in my neck of the woods come deer season, I've heard horror stories about wealthy people from up north coming down and trying to put a tag on a farmers cow because they shot it thinking they had a deer, lol . Not to mention how far most rifle bullets will travel. All in all the slug thing may not be a bad idea.

Used to bow hunt a bit, but come gun season for deer, I never wanted to be in the woods, private or public land.  It was just too dangerous.  Cape was/is probably the gun-trading-est little town in the USA.  I collected a few powder burners in my time there.  You will love that MM B-26.  Send us a pic and your comments when you get her.

Will do Tcups, one of my best friends has his FFL and he always gives me pretty good deals on my firearms, he thinks I've lost my mind 'cause I got the airgun bug. Lol
