PeakChick asked how the new BSA Scorpion shot JSB Exacts. Here are 45 consecutive shots, shooting CTR, TL, TR, BL BR at each target. The last 3 shots are JSB Predators. This is a single fill to about 3000 PSI. The JSB Exacts were weighed to be within the range 8.55 gr to 8.45 gr. No wind this afternoon, so any flyers are my wobbles. As expected, the JSB Exacts 8.50 gr, if weighed, group as well or perhaps a bit better than the Beeman FTS 8.80 gr. But I am sure that most of the variance is me, not the pellet. I didn't re-zero the scope, but it looks like the Bushy should come up and to the right just a wee bit to be dead on at 30 yards. It also looks like either the air rifle or me or both settle down toward the end of the string. More practice needed, no doubt. Airrrrrrrrrrr Gunzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz etc.
PS: those darn Eddleman targets! They don't cut the shooter any slack and just won't tear a single ragged hole unless I actually shoot one. Note to self - use cheaper targets?
