I sent my money to Mike Melick via PayPal last week on Wednesday and I had my new B-26 in .22 delivered to my door on Saturday!!!  Idaho to Georgia.

Put a scope on it yesterday (the Gamo that came with the Whisper) and my first shot was 1" high, 1" left!!  Tweeked the crosshairs a little to try to make sure I stayed on paper with whatever I shot and fired several rounds.  Only had time for about 50 rounds before SWMBO yelled that our Super Bowl guests were arriving.

First impression:  The wood and steel are much better quality than I expected.  The .22 pellets really pack a wallop!  Gamo Hunters appear to shoot very well.  Great trigger.

I'll keep shooting to season the barrel and keep everyone posted, but I think I have a definite keeper!  I'm gonna try to take some benchmark shots later today to track improvement.

I asked alot of questions about the expected velocities from the MM B26.  Hopefully these numbers will help someone with those same questions.  Ten shot groups fired after about 50 initial rounds through a brand new BAM B-26 .22 from Mike Melick in Iowa:

SD:  6.9

Gamo Hunters

SD:  4.7
FPE:  15.1

Crosman Premier Hollow Point
Av. fps:  685
