Johnny - You have to think about something else!  Go ahead and make or copy some targets to get ready.  Make some spinners, get creative.  Occupy your mind.  I'am going to AOA Friday to purchase mine and like you just can't wait.
Let us know when it arrives.

Well I just got off the phone with Pyramid Air.  Seems after waiting 2 weeks for the Walnut.  Seems they have them arrived and now they are not going to honor the price that I was given.  So I cancelled my order...  :(

"they are not going to honor the price that I was given..."

If you don't mind my asking...  do they have a new price on the S410's?  See, here's what I'm thinking:  I used to work at an online mountainbike mail-order company.  Now, depending on the quantity purchased by PA chances are their pricing will either go up or down.  Given the economy and not knowing how badly PA's been hit financially- if they purchased a lower number of these rifles their own discount goes down.

If they've upped the price- its because they either couldn't afford purchasing more(at one time) or don't have the demand to purchase in larger quantities.  Where wholesale is concerned- the larger the purchase from the manufacturer, the lesser the cost to the retailer or so it goes.

I'd hope these online retailers know that there are existing online forums(like this one) where such customer treatment goes seen by thousands of people.  If anything, they've stepped on their own peepee.

Just my two cents!

That completely sucks!  Call Pomona Air.  They had them for $1055 in walnut.  What price were you quoted with your discount?

Sorry Johnny

RE: Why Single-Shot Tray?
« Reply #23 on: January 29, 2009, 10:28:29 AM »

Personally Stanley, I like the mutlishot models. I have had the single shot AA410 withbolt lever and the mutishot with the side lever. Both shoot very accurate but I guess when shooting targets I am a bit lazy..:) I keep an extra rotary clip for both my AA410 and FX Cyclone. That way I an pop off 20 shots with the AA and 16 shots with the FX. I have bought both the BSA Ultra and Scorpion T10, both are multishot shooter. Now I have bought another BSA Lone Star .22 which I will be comparing to my FX. Both are .22 cal and I am hoping it will be just as accurate. It is a single shot carbine and is just three inches longer than my BSA Ultra.

Another point is that the FX and the BSA Multishots are really for target shooting for me. The .22 FX and new BSA are full powered PCP's with lots of punch

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

I guess single-shots will always have it`s place....for competition and longer pellets.  For me...when I stepped into the "Darkside"....it was multi-shots all the way.  My thinking is why have a tube full of air and then still stop to reload....just pull the bolt or lever back and shove another pellet in...it`s so easy.  Only problem is I tend to spit more pellets downrange in one sitting then if I`m using a single-shot shooter.
