careful when you print/copy targets
« on: February 03, 2009, 09:06:44 AM »
Just an FYI
Be careful when you print or copy targets.
I have used printers and copiers that did not print/copy evenly on the Horizontal and Vertical axis.
The rings on the target ended up as slightly flattened circles, not nice round circles.
Some printers/copiers are worse than others.  Some are REAL BAD.

Measure the H and V diameters.
If they are the same or very close, you are OK.
If they are significantly off, look for another printer or copier that will make a better circle.

I went to the library to get a print-out of the targets.....and they have an expensive laser printer....so the targets came out really round and at the right size.  I measured all the rings of one target to make sure they're correct then I went and got the page photocopied (500).
