You are right Troy....Moly isn't the best thing to use in that application and isn't used for rotating contact. A little moly in a carrier is good though. I suggest a lube mixture or if nothing else, a straight 30wt non-detergent oil.

Here is an excellent simple formula, works well and two ounces will last for years if just used on airgun's.

Take one tablespoon of Moly grease and mix it thoroughly with two ounces of 30wt non-detergent motor oil. Shake well. Serve as needed. Use sparingly on any metal to metal surfaces. Remember, a little of Moly goes a long way. Good for trigger assemblies and pivots, also any externally lubed areas. Do not use internally such as the barrel or in the port or chamber.
