J, when were those #'s taken? I have found that #'s taken shortly after the tune tend to be higher than those after around 700 or so shots. Have heard that anytime you tune, you need to give it a "break in" period again. I too had some nice FP on a .22 I tuned, up in the 20's, but after 1K worth of shots, re-chronyied and found the true FP near to 16 instead. The nice thing was that the spread was under 9 fps as far as velocity, showing the tune itself was successful in smoothing out and making more consistent the firing cycle.
I came into this world with nothing, and I still have most of it left!

After the seal went in, 19/20fpe. About 1500 or so pellets, it's up to 22+fpe . . .
`
Seems to be settling in, although it may creep up justa bit more.

Ran some more tests on Harrys new gun,,,, :p   15 shot strings. JSB exacts,,,couple fps faster than J,s #,s,,,,,,CP,s,,, couple fps faster than J,s #,s again. 10 shot string with JSB Peds: Av. vel.   769 fps. Max dev. 13 fps. =21.67 ft. lbs. :D  (Even taking into account that J & I know from testing that my chrony average readings are about 2-3 fps faster than his) this test would still indicate a slight increase in power. (About a hundred rounds,, 2 dead Nutters,, & 2 missed Crows :0  later!!) 8)  (Im a lousy shot freehand!!) I sure am gonna miss this gun :0     Tim. 8)  8)  8)

Thanks for tuning the 350 for me Jay!!  I hope to meet you in person one day, and maybe return the favor somehow.  You are a very special person in my book.

Thank you also for the stats with different pellets - looks great to me!  Couldn't be happier. I really did not want a monster shooting 24+fpe.  I prefer a more accurate smooth shot cycle gun now.  My "power monger" days with Springers, as Tim called it, are in the past after I found out what Gene's 14fpe .177 Springer can do with deadly accuracy on a dozen Groundhogs.

I also think that once the lubes thin out a little, and the seal expands and makes a nice fit, the power will creep up a bit more but it's find where it's at.  So keep shooting Tim - you 're doing a great job breaking it in for me buddy!   :)   Just be careful, you scratch it, you buy it!  hehehe

Timmy, I am sorry to say that Fritz was hit by a truck in fornt of me in the front of house. I cried all day and was depressed for over a week. The week before I had given Missy to some people who had a boy MinPin and wanted to breed her. All and all it was a very sad two weeks.

Not here yet J.  Tim 's been shooting it a lot and won't ship it!!  And yesterday he said he was driving over to Gene's because his dog passed away.  So Tim is just taking his time..

Nah actually I sent Tim the original RWS box, double-boxed the way the old 350 came from Compasseco, so that he woudn't go through the trouble looking for boxes or having to purchase a new one.  He should have it tomorrow at the latest so I probably won't get the gun until next week    :0   But hey I can wait!  hehe.
I 'll let you know.. Thanks J!!

Ok it's a deal Tim.  As soon as the wife starts talking to me again, I 'll ask her (on a good day) to take a pic of me and the 350, hehe.
She 's really PO'd cause she found out I have 3 Condors, not 2 like she thought  :o  So I was busted big time!  She realized the one I was shooting yesterday (the .25) had a red Flashlight on it and said she could swear she saw a blue flashlight (on the .22!) on it the other day.  I told her I just swapped them, that's all.  Those 2 Condors look identical (to her anyway, not me), plus I have the Lemak .25 with the OAK stock.  She went and looked when I was out and found all 3 so I 'm in big trouble right now.  I need to get a big gun Vault with a combination lock so she won't ever know what the hek I got in there  8)
