Spring guide comparison

I just received the JM deluxe tune kit for my B-26-2.  When I had disassembled the rifle I had noticed a lot of wear in the front of the trigger block assembly (? on term) where the back/bottom of the rear spring guide is seated.  Upon closer inspection of the stock spring guide, it's designed with the spring tube "mushroomed" out at the bottom so as to hold a large washer/guide base in position.  This mushroom type protusion is what is causing wear, to the point of actually cutting into the metal that it's seated against.  If I had shot 5000+ shots it wouldn't bother me that much, but I've only shot maybe 100 or so pellets through it.  I had gotten into a small discussion on another forum about this several days ago.  At any rate my point is that with the deluxe kit you get a custom spring guide and it is far better than stock.  Here are some photos to show what I'm talking about:

This is a photo of the wear caused the bottom of the spring guide.  I has actually cut into the metal to the left and right of the insert.

Here is a side by side comparison of the spring guides shown from the bottom.  The stock guide on the left, and JM guide on the right.
You make the decision which one you would rather have in your B26.
