Hey Brent....
My first attempt was a wash.
I cut the basic form for the thumb hole stock.
I made a slightly higher cheek rest to accommodate
the difference the barrel riser made. The scope is a little higher
and I figured that would put me back to a comfortable
eye to scope fit. The stock was cut to length,
the holes were all drilled and the action was fitting perfectly.
However, as I was cutting the grove for the barrel,
lets just say it didn't go well. I cut it to wide........
Good learning curve. I just don't have the needed tools.
Oh well, $250.00 is just to much to pay for a stock.
I could sell the disco, add some money and get a fully
custom B51. The disco will stay as is and I will enjoy it.
It was a good way to kill some hours on this rainy Saturday.
