CFX question about the rotating breach...
« on: January 07, 2007, 03:31:55 AM »
...if the sear were to fail while the breach was open, and the cocking lever slams home - would that also slam the breach shut? If you were loading a pellet at the time is is likely to do the same kind of damage to fingers as, say, a B21 or TF99 would do?

Not a chance, the rotating breech does just that, rotates, instead of sliding back out of the way.  It's a solid cylinder of steel with a cut out for loading and the transfer port.  In fact the back of the breech is the front of the compression chamber.  And I think that's the problem.  But it does guarantee no chopped fingers :-)!
