TKO Moderator.....It works Great!

Hello all,  Got my TKO Moderator today.  It was a very tight fit, but with some coaxing and graphite powder I got it mounted.  Let me say one thing...IT WORKS GREAT!  Before the TKO when shooting the .177 Disco in my basement, my wife would complain that the neighbors might call the police...the "crack" was pretty loud.  After shooting with the TKO mounted I went upstairs and asked her if the noise was any quieter?  She said she knew I was probably shooting something, but really didn't notice it until I asked her.  When I told he rit was the "loud" air rifle, she was surprized.

  I got Mike's  6 1/2" long moderator for $38 shipped and it was well worth it.  If anyone thinks they would like their Disco more if it was quieter, give him a call at  402-660-5073.

  By the way, still haven't taken the Disco apart to try to solve my difficult pellet loading problem, but that may come sooner now.. knowing I won't get yelled at whenever I shoot it!

Jerry glade your happy with the TKO. There should be a little resistance when the pellet is pushed into the chamber with the bolt . And if you are using wad cutters not domed pellets the edge of the pellet might be catching on the screw hole or chamber ramp . Marvin
