Joes going out of buisness sale?

I believe it's a Portland,Or. based company with stores all over the northwest. They are supposed to be discounting 10%-30%, but when I worked my way through the mob to look at their airguns, I found, for instance, the Remington Airmaster 77 marked at retail of $99.99. I just bought one a week ago at Fred Meyers for $69.99, and Pyramid Air has them at $69.99. Joes has the Gamo Recon at $99.95, and most online sellers are at $89.99.
    Wher is the savings??

That is called mark up discount. Increase the price by 40% and give a 30% discount.

I checked out the south hill store too. the crowds were crazy, no screaming discounts though. Gamo viper listed at $279 10% off gives you $251. Disco .177 w/pump listed at $389 10% discount gets it for $350.
