that is an excellent price especially for one that has only had one shot fired through it.
it's a really nice gun , mine was sent to david slade for a theoben gas ram and a trigger tune so i don't know what it was like stock but from what i've read lhey respond really well to a good tune.
as far as markings go you can't miss it it says webley & scott birmingham england right on the breech.
ps if you are interested in making some money off it i'll give you $600.00 for it , if interested send me a PM.   good luck

Thanks for the info on this rifle, I'm going to go get it this weekend and the info the man gave was that it was not them Turkish guns that are being sold with Patriot name. His word on the phone were its a Webley  Patriot .25 cal made in England and that got me to have sleepless nights I must tell you. thanks again and any one else what to add to this topic jump right in, yf,dan

Well boy's I just bought this Patriot .25 cal rifle and it says on the breech, WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND
I fired the rifle and man it was great , I was expecting something else every shot was with open sights, they hit their target and blew right threw my back stop with JSB 24+ grain pellets, never had any of my guns do that before. I shot a 16oz water bottle at 15 yards with open sights both shots hit right on.
The bluing is great on this rifle and as for the stock it feels just right not heavy at all at least not for me.
All input will be greatly appreciated on this rifle, yfis dan

It must be a used patriot Daniel.. Webley/Scott does not manufacture any more patriots in England. All turkish made clones now.

Gene, Hello there, and yes they do not make them in England any more the, man told me that I had to break the rifle in at least 500 round and then tell him what I think about the rifle as he never got to break it and in he offered me 8 tins of pellets all closed except one minus one pellet LOL. technically it is is used as I'm the owner now but it looks great the owner said he fired one round in his back yard and neighbour gave him a dirty look and  so he never fired it again.I fired it in my back yard and it is way quieter that my walthert talon magnun, even I would say neighbour noise friendly for the power. I thinks the neighbour gave him a bad look because rifle looks very intimidating, yfis dan

Now that I have this beauty what are the best mounts and aptics for this rile? I will be using it for hunting  in the desert, I would say from 20 to 60 yards. First day with the Patriot and I was hiting my target with the iron sights up to 40 yards, man it has a wallop when it strikes the target.

Johnp, thanks for your help, I was shooting Exact king JSB match diabolo pellets that weigh 25.4 grains and they hit hard,  have u found this pellets to do good in your rifle as i can buy this local, and as you know this is my first experience with .25 cal's,  I  believe I can do real good with this rifle.
